Porty have made the best possible start to their BWPL campaign beating both Rotherham and Bristol today.

Rotherham were put to the sword with ruthless efficiency even after going down 0 - 3 within the first 3 minutes and the retirement of 'the wall' (Simon Fuste) midway through the 2nd quarter with bad cramp. Bojan replaced Simon between the sticks and played a fantastic game. Porty were also on striking form up-front and sailed to an impressive 15 - 9 victory, with Tom Crammond putting the final nail in the coffin.

And TC would continue his personal form to open the scoring against Bristol. After this Porty were always in control and won comfortably 10 - 4.

These two wins represent the best possible start to BWPL 2011 for Porty, and it is some years now since they have beaten either Bristol or Rotherham.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's result against Penguin.
